CGRundertow SAMBA DE AMIGO for Nintendo Wii Video Game Review

Samba de Amigo Review. Classic Game Room presents a CGRundertow video game review of Samba de Amigo, a rhythm/music game developed by Gearbox Software and published in 2008 by Sega for the Wii. It takes a lot to make maracas cool for video games. Leave it up to a starry-eyed monkey in a sombrero jamming out to Low Rider, La Bamba, and (if no one’s looking) maybe even some Ricky Martin. The only issue is how well the Wiimote controls pick up your height-based shakings… still, it beats tracking down the elusive Dreamcast maraca controllers. This CGRundertow video game review features video gameplay footage of Samba de Amigo for the Wii and audio commentary from Classic Game Room’s TJ.

  1. This game makes me think Wii Remote precision deteriorated over time
Because this game played just fine when it was new but I tried today and no amount of calibration could make this even remotely playable.
    Dang

  2. The name "Samba" shouldn't be in the game's title. The songs are not samba. Samba doesn't use maracas. And Samba isn't a mexican thing.

  3. I have a confession to make…

I own the Lou Bega CD, "A little bit of Mambo…" oh gosh, I had questionable tastes as a kid, but boy was it catchy!

  4. @83SupaNatural I will sound like an idote here but how do the whole system codes work, will it be like playing online or is it like sharing scores, and what games would /do use it, smash bros?
    Thanks

  5. I've been wanting to get this version of the game for a while, since I've never played this game on the Sega Dreamcast before. 😀
